I had the same issue on my 316i SE, doors would only unlock randomly and usually after not using the car for a while. I've ordered the 2 relays from Scott's website in the states and followed Jessie's 'safe' procedure. Dismantling the relay and then soldering the new one on top of the already existing connectors is indeed a bit more work but the fact that it's 100% safe as there's no risk of damaging the board is well worth it. The doors now unlock every time and everything works perfectly Very Happy

If anyone has this issue around north London and doesnt fancy paying the £400 for a new module u can send me a private message and I'll sort it out for you.
