This vid has been all over the VW forums!
I never realised it was of the "plowy a" until someone told me. I know your car, and remember your 330D too.
Can't believe you finally got overtook. I've had a go at keeping up with you many many times down the A166 on a morning and just haven't got the bottle (or the mentality) to drive that fast on the road. You're a loon! it's like watching police camera action trying to follow you. |
It's not difficult going fast in a straight line mate all you gotta do is put your foot on the floor and steer, I know your a bit sore coz your VR6 always tends to get left behind, even by the old smokin derv I had, but then maybe you should jump onto the BMW band wagon.
Also just to add I've done Croft a couple of times myself most recently three weeks ago, and each time I have managed to drive my car home without a scratch on it having stayed away from the gravel traps and armco, But no doubt when you get the old girl back from the bodyshop she'll be as good as new |
ooh, you bitch
had a go at you when I had the 3.2, but with standard 2.8 suspension, no chance, didn't handle at all. Then I had the R32 suspension on, but had downgraded to a 2.8, so not enough power! than i got the bigger brakes, but bolied the fluid at croft an binned it.... ! still dno't think I'll ever dare drive that on the road though, track maybe.....
haven't got the experience on the bike yet, only been riding it properly for 3 months.
Will definitely do croft again when you and Ian are up there though. (and the car is straighened out of course.....) |

Interesting, you don't appear to be as nice to me on the vw forum, refering to me as a ' bell End ' amongst other things which don't bother me really but it's a bit annoying coz as we live in the same village you could have come and said it to me, anyway, get to know me you'll soon see that I'm a decent bloke under all that boy's stuff that we are all guilty of... |

last weekend, we came back from kart-racing, my wife followed me in our MKV R32 DSG and behind her my friend in his MKIV R32 DSG. From far behind a very agressive lime green race-bike (Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R or ZX-6R?) with rider in full racing-wear followed us so close, that first my friend and then my wife let him pass ther Golf`s. Just at the moment he reched my TwinTurbos back, the road infrint of me got free (on the left lane) and i accerlerated with full power......the bike lost this race, sorry! |

Sorry.
Seriously though, I was cracking up so much......says it all that R32Event's video's all have a few thousand, or a few hundred thousand views, but yours has nearly 1.7 million!

my friend has an 07 plate golf r32
there is nothing in it performance wise between my 330 ci and the golf
the golf feels quicker and more responsive but it isnt really any faster. Maybe its the engine note in the golf it sounds amazing. puts the bmw to shame |
