img 1 is at the Harewood Vintage & Classic lst June. Our club Durham Thoroughbred Wheels (DTW) were 2nd placed in the Best Club Stand award. The Capri's next to us got 1st and the TVR CC were 3rd. We still havent figured out how we got even placed. The Corvette next to me has also won awards.
img 2, 3 and 4 are various views on the leather from Paulsh's 540 refurbed an now fully installed.

Good to hear from you Paulsh. Good luck in finding a new one.

Lets raise a glass to the E34 (Non-alcoholic if we are driving of course)

My dad has a 525i SE sort of in storage at the moment, it hasn't been moved for a while now.

No idea what he wants to do with it as it will need some money spent on it to get it back in tip top shape.

Very comfortable cars though, they really do soak up the miles well on Motorways and aren't no slouches in the bends.
No, as theres still so many on the road still, although they are getting a huge following now with the younger of us, a well built BMW at silly money, and lovely 4,6 and V8 engines!!
I aint got photos lined up like the other chaps. They do look fantastic tho.

I've had a white 520i on a K years ago (called the fridge) and I've now got a '94 525i 24v in Calypso red which I love.

Now its got PaulSH's leather in it its even better. Really tough and reliable and I have a great indie which makes things a whole lot easier.

I would be frightened of a 540 though (complexities of the V8). Did some have premature engine wear issues (nikasil)?

I'm sure they are great fun though, but I have a limited budget and I am more than happy to sing the praises of the M50 Straight 6 as my fave.

E34's as a whole are brill. Once described to me in this phrase. 'You dont have to worry about rust like an E28 or complexity like an E39'. I do like both of them as well but this was the period when BMW really was the ultimate driving machine. Long may they live.

Totally agree tim, glad the leathers still ok, I'm hunting for another e34 as the 328's just too small

Powerflex ustom made stainless from the middle damper. 4"twin pipe and the burble was very distinctive without being intrusive.
Nowadays I would use torqueflow in Birmingham for that.

The wheels were 3 piece japanese forged Rezax (made by Work's wheels). rears 10x18
i agree with u on looks olli! but it's a tough call with a saloon that looks as nice as that! What exhaust has that got on? Ive never drive the saloon but I know the drive of the E34 tourer deffnelty beats the drive feel of my E36 saloon!

Bobsy, I had a tourer and a saloon at the ame time a few years back, both with proper suspension and nice 18" wheels (wide rears) and although I loved both, the tourer seemed to have the edge in looks and also handling. May have been very subjective feel, though.
Only got a pic of the saloon, as it is loooong ago
