Electric seats wont move

Postby neilsonthejazz » Thu, 03 Apr 2008 14:30:38 UTC

Hi all,

Looking for some help if you`s could be so kind,

My driver side electric seat will not move(330Ci 02), I have looked under the seat and there is nothing obvious loose, so my next thought, fuse, however I dont have a clue where they are, could anyone point me in right direction???

Also if anyone has any other ideas please what it might be I would be very greatful, I did get the car valeted a week ago while I was away, and started it for the first time since then so there is a chance water might have got in whilst the carpets were getting cleaned,

All advise greatly appriciated

All the best :D

Its usually a loose plug under the seat maybe have another check after the seat is moved.

I agree with m330d, it could be a loose plug. Its worth a check. I think the fuse work both seats so if the drivers is ok then its not the fuse. Dont quote me though!
I had a problem on my Leon Cupras electric seats. The connectors had got damaged and had to be replace. Never worked that one out! :?
