Diesel Tuning on 525d

Hi I am a mewbie and this is my first post. I have a 525d and was looking to purchase a diesel tuning kit to gain more mpg. I looked at a LPG conversion and at £2000.00 it is cost prohibitive. Has anybody any experience of the diesel tuning kits such as those on DTUK website? If so are they worth the investment? I do around 8000 miles per year mostly urban.

Eh LPG on a diesel, yes it is possible but I have only seen it on trucks

A remap is always a good start & by far the best cost effective.
E-maps is one of our site supporters & has received high praises so far.
