Temps are too low just to do the EGR
The main culprit will be the "main"
But then if it sells you want to maximise return
I'd be inclined to do neither as you will destroy the EGR thermostat is only changing that
Gee! What I used manage to do all night, now takes me all night !!
Found what I couldn't find!

Sean.

Too old for me. Looking for something newer tbh.

Did just see this. Before you say I know its not a BMW, would be my first Merc

Nice spec not sure on mpg but would expect more than a 04 535d. I would be tempted :) I must admit it could be a good compromise

Edit: Average 40 mpg but only 231 bhp

Just looked at others for comparison and reckon it will go for too much, plus need to sell mine first.

Never know, may end up keeping for winter and selling next year if I don't get what I want. Just spent £250 on it in last 2 days with newflexi, thermostat and breather

The main one was done by bmw not that long ago, and I have seen temps at 80 as well.

Anyway took off old egr stat last night, and I culd blow straight through it with no resistance. replaced with new one, and all is fine now.

Just picked up crankcase breather as it had to be ordered, and will hopefully fit that on the weekend, as Im not sure when it was last changed.
