E90 fuse box removal

Postby djmsport » Mon, 28 Jan 2013 21:36:52 UTC

hi
I'm in the process of installing a BMW universal hands free kit p/n 84 64 0 398 228. All has gone well apart from connecting the power to the fuse box. I have the clove box out and can, with some effort remove three of the four screws. The four screw top right is behind a bracket holding the blower motor. Do i have to remove it to get this last screw out ? does anyone have access to TIS no 56 16 366 ?
if were to connect to the front of the fuse box do i need a permanent or switched live - the instructions show it linked into X11003
has anyone else fitted this kit as the next step would be to get it coded, is this a dealer only task ?

any help would be appreciated.
